"Go." This small word has a singular consequence that penetrates the head and heart of Eda as she walks away. Logic says Serkan doesn't trust her, and emotions say Serkan doesn't care for her. The wound is stark and deep.
Serkan's fury is so profound that he shouts at Engin to send all of their lawyers to "burn the plant down," and let Selin know immediately what has happened. Engin, however, is more concerned with Serkan's treatment of Eda and asks if Serkan thinks what he has done to Eda is appropriate. If Serkan didn't trust her, why did he become engaged to her? Engin is sure that Eda is innocent. In fact, he says her eyes smile every time she looks at Serkan. Piril also says she doesn't understand Serkan because he didn't even listen to what Eda had to say. Serkan accuses them of being more interested in his private life than work, but Piril says that's not true. His life IS his work and theirs. First Piril and then Engin leave in disgust. Engin follows Piril and tells her to forget Serkan's anger, he will cool down, but Piril says anger has become his usual response lately, and they always forgive him.
Selin and Ferit are enjoying a movie at home when the phone rings. It's Engin calling to alert Selin about the stolen designs. Before she can end the call, the doorbell rings. It's Piril, depressed and in need of a friend. She tells Selin about Serkan's anger and how he blamed Eda for stealing the designs. Selin, of course, is reasonably pleased at the thought that Eda is gone and Serkan is free. Piril is not willing to say that the engagement is broken, but she thinks if Eda has any pride at all, she won't come back. Ferit has overheard the conversation, and he suspects that Selin is only too happy to hear that Serkan's engagement may be over.
Seyfi and Aydan, who were present when Serkan made his angry accusations to Eda, are recovering from the shock. Seyfi is particularly affected because he has admired Eda's independence and enthusiasm for life. He thinks she's angelic, and he can't understand how Serkan can be so cruel to her. Aydan complains that while she was trying to get rid of the "florist girl," Eda was wrapping her finger around Seyfi, but Seyfi reminds Aydan that she, too, was affected by Eda's kindness.
Eda paces back and forth in her anger and disappointment at Serkan's accusations. Melo and Fifi listen to her frustrations and offer their support. Melo says they should discover who stole the designs and make Serkan apologize, but Eda says she never wants to see him again. She says she wants to make him pay for not trusting her, especially when they have been through so much together. She tells them not to let Ayfer know and at that moment Ceren arrives. Eda takes Ceren to the kitchen to talk, making Melo a bit jealous that now "Ceren is your best friend."
Eda tells Ceren it's her fault that she's so upset because she knows men can be insensitive and cruel, and Serkan has been that way before. It's also her fault because the fake engagement was wrong from the beginning and she shouldn't have accepted it. If he wants to sue her, that problem will just have to be. Now she just wants to prove that she's not a thief and she will go back to the florist shop and try to forget it. Ceren says she will be her lawyer and will always be by her side. Ceren will go to the company tomorrow to see Engin and she will let Eda know if she learns anything about the situation.
Aydan finds her son and confronts him with her disappointment in his behavior with Eda. Speaking to a woman that way is wrong. He says he'd react the same way with anyone if an important job was ruined. She says no, he wouldn't. Even though she hasn't been a fan of Eda, she has noticed how he has been sensitive to Eda and has treated her differently. Serkan is determined to object to anyone who comes to Eda's defense. After Aydan leaves, Serkan sits at his desk in an effort to work, but he can't stop looking at two photos of him and Eda in happy moments as the "mood" cup changes from red (love) to black (sadness).
Serkan takes Sirius for a walk and sits on the steps where Eda gave him his birthday gift, remembering how he kissed her and she smiled. After that recollection, he gets up and they ascend the steps just as Eda comes and sits in the same spot at the bottom of the steps. She, too, remembers the evening before, the kiss, and how pleased Serkan seemed with her gift.
The next morning Eda finds Melo asleep over her bowl of cereal. She wakes her up and tells her she's going to Serkan's house to give back the engagement ring, and Melo is not to tell Ayfer anything about the recent events.
Serkan is busy drawing at his desk, the photos of him and Eda still displayed in front of him. Seyfi is watching him sketch, then wad the papers and throw them away. When Aydan comes up, Seyfi tells her Serkan is trying to forget Eda, and it's not working because he has thrown 100 sheets of paper away. Serkan sees them and approaches, telling Seyfi to gather Eda's personal things to return them. Seyfi, however, is not disposed to helping Serkan get rid of Eda's presence and announces that today is his day off (that's the cutest line in the series so far). Besides, he says, Serkan made a mess of things, so he needs to clean it up.
Ayfer, always the nosy aunt, stops Melo before she leaves for work and asks where Eda is. Melo, who can't keep a secret, lies and muddles an answer before finally revealing that Eda and Serkan have broken up and Eda is returning the engagement ring. That doesn't satisfy Ayfer, so Melo has to tell that Serkan has accused Eda of stealing his design. Now that she has broken Eda's trust, Melo beats a hasty retreat, but not before telling Ayfer that Kaan is coming for dinner that evening. After all, it was Ayfer who suggested the invitation so she could meet the man Melo was seeing.
Aah, poor Engin. Just as he leaves his apartment, he's confronted with two women who vie for his attention. Piril and Ceren have both come to take him to work, but now that his cast is gone, he feels sure that he can fend for himself. As they argue about who will do what, Engin escapes in a taxi that conveniently appears.
Serkan, working at his desk, looks up to see Eda approaching. He walks out to meet her and asks why she has come. She says she wants to give him the ring, but he says she could have sent it by someone. She struggles to get the ring off and says she wouldn't trust such an expensive ring with anyone else, but he says she can have the ring. She moves to get soap to take the ring off, but he stops her and says, "Don't." When she asks why, he says because people will start talking and it will be in the press. He wants time to find a solution and then he will let her know. She says he can tell Leyla because she doesn't want to see him again. It's evident that Serkan is feeling some regret for what he has done.
Aydan sees Eda leaving and calls to her. She insists that Eda sit and have coffee so they can talk. At the same time, of course, Ayfer appears and confronts Serkan who insists that she sit and have coffee. The two conversations mirror each other, Eda and Ayfer saying Eda is innocent and Serkan is to blame, Aydan and Serkan saying Eda doesn't know how to act in different situations. Both pairs insist that apologies are in order from Serkan and Eda to each other.
Ferit has prepared a lovely breakfast for Selin when she comes downstairs. He remarks that she appears different this morning, more beautiful it seems. She says she doesn't have time to eat but she sits for coffee. Piril calls to tell her that Ceren is going to talk to the paparazzi, so Selin makes a hasty retreat for the office. Ferit immediately calls Kaan and tells him to talk to the person who put the engagement contract information in the paper and on the internet. He doesn't want Selin to get in trouble for lying to Serkan. Kaan is very blasé about the situation, telling Ferit that he has no sense of humor. He confesses that he arranged to have the contract publicized, he will take care of it, and Selin will have nothing to worry about. Kaan has recorded the conversation with Ferit to be used at a later time.
Fifi, Eda and Ceren work up a board of suspects and begin their detective work. Eda's travel route and everyone she saw while in possession of the patent file is placed on the board.
Serkan goes into the office in a foul mood. He demands to see drawings from two of his architects and quickly wads them up, telling them if they can't do better they will have to leave. In his office, Serkan asks Engin if the factory in Sishane has stopped production and has been closed. Engin says yes and the lawyers are working on the situation. Serkan then says he wants them to bring all of the files for the project and they will review them carefully to know how to proceed with their customer. Engin says they can't bring all of the files since Eda was in charge of getting the patent and the notarized work. Serkan tells Engin to call her. Later, Engin tells Serkan that the lawyers closed the Sishane company producing the lighting design. But Serkan wants to know if Engin called Eda. He says he called her several times, but she didn't answer.
Selin comes in and says Eda has caused them serious problems. The American hotel chain is not happy about the situation, but they didn't cancel the contract. Instead, they are sending representatives to the company tomorrow. Engin says they need Eda's signature on papers, and Serkan says that's why he needs to get in touch with Eda. Selin suggests that she and Serkan leave the company for a short time, but while Serkan agrees to go with her, he won't go until Engin tells Eda they need her to sign papers. Eda agrees to come to the company to sign the documents while Serkan is away. In Selin's office at the holding, Ferit has found the card with Serkan's name that came with the flowers. He is suspicious of Selin's feelings for Serkan and calls her just as she and Serkan go to lunch.
Eda, accompanied by Ceren, goes to the company to sign the documents. Leyla calls Serkan at the restaurant to let him know Eda is in the office. At the same time, Piril calls Selin to tell her Ceren is going to meet with the journalist at a café and she should be there. When Serkan arrives at the office, he notices something like dandruff on his shirt. Eda hides from him with Leyla's help, and he goes upstairs to his private bath to shower and change his clothes. Eda, unfortunately, is hiding there and when he comes out, he finds her. He insists that they talk. About yesterday, he says, things were out of control. She says she knows he doesn't trust her and won't until she can prove she is innocent. She will bring him evidence and then she will never see him again. She starts to say, ". . .but my heart. . ." He grabs her and pulls her close, saying ". . .your heart?" She leaves the office.
In the meantime, Selin finds Ceren meeting with the journalist and sends the girl text messages to keep her from revealing her source to Ceren. Instead of the truth, Miss Fatma, the journalist, says she found the contract in the garbage, an answer that Ceren immediately suspects as a lie. When Ceren leaves, Selin promises Miss Fatma money to keep quiet. Selin goes back to the office and taunts Eda with having caused huge problems for the company, after which she suggests to Serkan that they review the documents for the next day's meeting.
Seyfi goes to visit Ayfer on his "day off." He helps her prepare the meal for Melo's dinner with Kaan. Actually, Seyfi is there to see Eda, but he says he will come another day. While they are working in the kitchen, Erdem arrives searching for Fifi. After failing to convince Leyla to quit her job so Eda can replace her and have Fifi come to the company for visits, Erdem has decided to find Fifi himself. For some strange reason, Ayfer offers Erdem a room until he can find other accommodations. Fifi scares Erdem off and then calls Eda to give her good news. The plant that made the cheap light fixtures was closed and the manager said they got the design from a tall, handsome man with brown hair.
Aydan misses her companion Seyfi, and when he doesn't answer his phone, she calls Alptekin to come home. Alptekin says he's busy, but he decides to leave the office early and surprise Aydan. He finds her preparing a light meal on the private lake porch, and they discuss her concern with Serkan's recent behavior. Alptekin blames himself for Serkan's aggressive concern for business.
In the evening, Kaan comes to Ayfer's home for dinner and brings bitter chocolate for Melo. Anticipating a lovely private evening, Melo is shocked when she hears Erdem shout Kaan's name and sees Erdem and Fifi approaching the table. Fifi greets Kaan politely, but Erdem is volatile in his voice and expression. Ayfer invites them to join the dinner. When the evening is over and Kaan leaves, Ayfer tells Melo to break up with Kaan because he's a complete fake.
After having denied to Ferit any romantic attachment with Serkan, Selin goes to the Bolat estate to see Serkan. Ferit has been waiting secretly for her to leave the holding; he follows her to the estate. Meanwhile, Eda, having finished her design for the golf resort landscape, decides to take the folder to Serkan that evening before going to Ceren's apartment. She finds Selin talking with Serkan as he grooms a horse in the stables. Standing away, she overhears their conversation. Soon Eda is joined by Ferit who warns her to be quiet because he wants to hear what Selin has to say. They hear Selin questioning Serkan about his relationship with Eda and making veiled references to the chances of a reconciliation. When Serkan says he and Selin need to work, Eda and Ferit leave quietly. Out of earshot, Ferit says he's sorry about her problems with Serkan, and Eda asks him if Selin could have divulged the contract to the paparazzi because of jealousy. Ferit defends Selin and ultimately admits he's the one who took the picture and sent it to Kaan.
When Serkan and Selin finish their business meeting, Serkan takes Sirius for a walk in the park where they had gone before with Eda. Eda is also walking in the park after having left her design project folder on Serkan's car windshield. The dog finds Eda, she sits for a few minutes with Serkan, and then walks away.
The next morning, Melo, Fifi, and Ceren listen as Eda tells them about Ferit admitting he took a photo of the engagement contract and sent it to Kaan. Melo is upset when she realizes that Kaan's interest in her is only relegated to the information he can learn about Serkan. Fifi remembers that Kaan said at the dinner last evening that he had had Ayfer's delicious lemonade before. That meant he had been in the house before. Melo told them about inviting Kaan home for lunch the day Eda was upstairs taking a shower and the patent folder was on the table. The girls put the scenario of theft together and vowed to fin d evidence that he was the thief.
Alptekin, in his new found "casual" style, visits Serkan at the office. He tells Serkan that he detects changes in himself, Aydan and Serkan. Sometimes there are people who create change without being aware of how they affect their surroundings, and he thinks Eda is such a person. He also says that Serkan was wrong to blame the girl with theft. Serkan replies that his father doesn't even know Eda, but Alptekin says he knows enough to see that his family has been living a very narrow lifestyle. He tells Serkan that he has strong senses for work; he should use those senses for Eda as well. Apparently, Alptekin's advice struck a chord because Serkan goes to the florist shop with Eda's landscape design and asks her to continue the project. She refuses, saying she won't consider seeing him or working with him until she has cleared her name with evidence that proves she's innocent.
Fifi and Melo have a plan, so they go to Kaan's office. When he comes in, he greets Melo, and Fifi attacks him from behind, holding an ether-soaked pad over his face. Kaan passes out, Fifi get his phone from his jacket pocket, uses his thumb to open the phone, and sends the photos to her phone.
She and Melo send the photos and the information to Eda who prints it up and takes it to Serkan. He tells her the problem of trust is his. He doesn't say the words, "I'm sorry," but he says she was right, he should have trusted her. Eda says he should have said that in the beginning, but accusing her broke her honor, hurt her and disappointed her. She gives him the ring and leaves. This is the second episode that ends with separation and emotional scars for Serkan and Eda.
